The song and the quote of the day all rolled into one. (When the next ‘of the day’ will come…depends on my mood.) =) I cheated, shoot me. (Not really. I value my life…a lot.) This song is pretty much me in a nutshell. So much like me that it’s kinda creepy in an awesome kind of way. Actually, there are quite a few songs on the entire album that I can relate too in some form or fashion. I’m personally a huuuuge fan of the lyrical style that she chose. The words just seem to flow so fluid that after the song is finished, I’m filled with envious feelings and all the other emotions she meant to inflect with each song. The song is just uplifting by saying that she’s going to show her true colors instead of hiding behind her walls that she built. As the song aptly puts it, she’s going to unfold. Now, go download it and enjoy it.

headaches, toothaches, heartaches.

Life is full of aches. Heck, I currently have all three of those. Mind you my toothache is more like a teethache because they all hurt. (I’ve got braces. Yeah, I know what you’re thinking…nineteen with braces?!? I don’t care. o.0 I was already a loser without them. They just enhance the quality a little bit.) I’ve also got a headache over all this political jumbo-mumbo. Mostly because Congress is batty. (Okay, namely Pelosi. That woman worries me quite a bit.) I haven’t paid much attention to anything to do with the President or PEBO. (it’s an acronym for President Elect Barack Obama) I did catch the fact that he seems to be getting a lot of Clintonees, including Clinton herself.

Ehhh, I’ve tried to avoid it since I became a little too obsessed during the election. I’ve been trying to chill a little. Depending on the day, I’ll sometimes get involved a little too much. Anyways, I digress.

The last that I don’t exactly have but it’s something I’m familiar with is heartache. It’s a bug that’s stricken quite a few people that I know. One thing I’ve learned about heartache is that you can’t dwell on it too much. Wallow in the feeling for a little while and then pick yourself up and move on. You might have pangs of pain but that’s normal. Eventually it fades unless you cling to that sad feeling and you just mope around. That’s just my advice that I learned from my own personal experience. It doesn’t mean it’s that sound but it works for me.

Francesca Battistelli’s, ‘I’m Letting Go’ is the song of the day! It’s uplifting and positively charming. iTunes is obviously a good place where you can get it from.

and I’m going to start doing quote of the day again soon. For now, I’m just being lazy.

Actually, I’m just fresh from a meeting with my orthodonist. Let me tell you something (or as Raoul from Happy Feet would say, ‘let me tell joo somethin’) that new wires huuuurt. Not in the OMG, I’m gonne die kinda way but the omogoshi’msomiserable kinda way. Yay for ibuprofen! But yeah, that explains why I’m not ranting tonight about politics and/or music. Honestly, I’ve also had five hours asleep (boo insomnia) so I’m also a leeeeetle crankay. (translation: really cranky) I’ve totally got a rant planned out for tomorrow though.

I’m still debating about going to go see Twilight. Part of me wants to see it because of the pretty cinematography but the other half of me says, ‘nooo, it’ll be worse than the book’ because the book had characters that to me were a little…one dimensional (and I hate that) but the setting is grorgeous. Someone convince me. xDD

Oh, and on repeat today? The Way We Talk by The Maine.

Hmm, that would make a nifty lyric. I might develop that later so no stealing!

This week I’m planning on buckling down on all of my school stuff that I’ve got to get together so I can start this Jaaaanuaray. Like soon. Anywho, I’m also in the works of several massive projects. One of which is practicing those lovely Christmas songs because…if you don’t start now then trust me, you shouldn’t be part of Christmas, duh! (What? I like Christmas! It involves two of my most favorite things, Jesus and presents! Right, so the presents don’t compare to Jesus but I like presents all the same…moving on…) I’m also working on maybe making my own Christmas jingle. Ooooh, you might be able to find it on my myspace around early December 1st, if I can come up with a decent one.

I’m also working on story. It’s only about 1300 words long currently but it’s getting there. So, far I’ve got the beginning of chapter one and chapter two (both on the same file xDD) I won’t give away too much except to say that it does involve music, a band from a foreign country, (from the Asia side to be more specific…not that you care to know) and that’s all I can say because honestly that’s about all that I have going. Well, I have a few more details but I’d prefer they were a surprise until I flesh it out more. Why do I only know have only this much, you ask? Well, because I’m a very disorganized writer. I don’t like plotlines…I find them too constraining because one day I might decide to take the characters to Finland and the next day they might wind up in Japan. Honestly, it just depends on my motivation and since I’m one of those weird people who does the whole, ‘hmm, if I were so-and-so what would I do in such-and-such situation’ when it comes to characters, it can sometimes take a while. You’ll be able to find it on fictionpress soon and I will link ya! For now, it’s a secreeet.

Just remember that none of this is set in stone.

…..because I always get sidetracked by something else.
